Been going here for 123 days now , have been completely honest w counselor and staff , go in today to find that ive Been discharged , cold turkey no warning no tapering NOTHING.., GO to MDs office to find that she wrote for them to taper me for 7 days due the fact that im still getting my prescription pain meds that ive been 100 percent honest about and getting ready for my second hip replacement surgery.. My point in this is that there are select staff there that dont give one dam about me you or the next one .. I dont take my meds on a regular they are prn (as needed) but they are prescribed and my Dr knows about the clinic.. There are a couple staff that do care but several that don't.. We are just a 💵 sign..

I am almost done here. I was in bad shape when I first started. The staff is great! It's your program. Whatever you put into it is what you get out of it. If you need to see your counselor, they are always there. I have Marsha and she has been a perfect fit for me. She is definitely an asset to this treatment program. Only gave a 4 star because there is always 1 or 2 ppl outside asking for money, cigarettes, or lighter. They are not scary or aggressive. I'm sure they have security, but I only ever see him flirting with the ladies up front. And thats only on Saturday.

The people who review Rightway claiming all the staff cares about is the money the patients bring in - they are correct. It is a business after all. The entire medical field is a business, so you're giving your money either to the methadone clinic or a heroin dealer. Does it make sense to refuse help because they charge? No, you end up doing that at any treatment center and with any doctor. I wish there were less sketchy things happening in the parking lot sometimes, but the staff has started asking some of the more reckless dealers loitering outside to beat it. But it's not often that I notice those people hanging around. And if you're worried about slipping and someone selling you anything, then just go in - get your dose and leave without engaging any other patients. I'm happy to say I am doing so much better than when I decided to first start going to Rightway. I was bad on heroin and it seemed there was no end in sight but the clinic helped me get back on my feet and out of the cycle of scoring and getting sick, instead the methadone lets you have a clearer head and frees you from being sick all the time. It's much better than the life of a user getting his fix from wherever or whomever.
