Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are having problems the nurses are excellent to help you through asap. Very friendly and excellent facility

This place was actually a pleasant surprise and I say that because its just not a lot of good places in Houston. The facility was new/nice, the staff was on top of your needs, the food was great and the Doctor was excellent. However, i feel they should stick to seven day Detox and not try to be a Residential Treatment Center. I understand trying to get all the insurance money they can at the end of the day but to have clients who have completed their detox just sitting around all day locked in a building for 23 additional days in my opinion is not good. *Just too much time to sit in your head*. I can say they tried to hold group counseling sessions but most of those were not successful in planning. Therefore, the only thing the clients were left to do is smoke, eat snacks and try to sleep the time away. Some outtings would have been great such as: Outside AA/NA meetings, bowling or even a walk in the park but that couldn't be done because some people were still detoxing. Suggestion, either figure out a way to separate the two or just be a detox center. Overall my experience wasnt that bad but now im getting bills in the mail for smoking, eating snacks and sleeping the time away.
