If you come to teen challenge just to get out of your 10-20 years in prison for drugs etc., remember this, throw out any logic or common sense you may have, skepticism does not fare well here, personality and charm goes a long ways no matter how insincere you may be, real life issues like family, legal, mental health, etc. Is to be disregarded and turned over to god as they say. Yes, it works for some, but not everyone has had a charmed life, some of us never stood a chance.

While every program has their difficulties I highly recommend this program. After almost ending my life in 2015 I reached out for help. I ended up coming to MNTC to get my life back. I initially came in planning to do 30-90 day but after seeing the joy in the women in the long term program I knew I wanted that joy for myself. This program is hard. It is uncomfortable and sometimes overwhelming. After spending almost 8 years in active addiction I decided to surrender one year of my life and it was SO worth it. The long term program offers DBT and EMDR so not only did I learn coping skills but I also got to process trauma. I also got to meet with mental health professionals, LADCs and Chaplains. This program is hard work- if you're willing to put in the work there will be transformation. October 20th I will be celebrating my 4 years free from drugs and alcohol. Not only did I get my relationships with friends and family back but also a renewed relationship with the Lord. Shortly after graduating I started working for the program and can't imagine working anywhere else. If you are struggling please reach out to us!
