Travis is my daddy. Seriously, this place changed my life. I am forever grateful for their efforts.

A unique recovery facility. Intake and day to day concerns are handled by Travis who did his job very well for me. Any problems were addressed quickly and professionally. My primary counsellor was Justin and his skills were impressive as well. I have no complaints. The receptionist, June, also was exceedingly competent and able to lend an ear as needed. Other counselors included Franchesca and Eva all of whom I came to respect and appreciate for the work they did to assist me with nutrition and meditation. Finally, the cog in the center of the wheel here is the primary counsellor, Juan. It is difficult to explain how much my relationship with Juan has helped me in terms of both my recovery and in everyday living. This is a very open format which was OK with me. The crux of therapy is "Gestalt" or wholeness. Again, I can not put the essence of this in to words yet, I can say, this treatment has been game changing- primarily in allowing me to feel well about myself. I am 100% satisfied with The Adaptive Center. It may not be for everyone. Anyone with an open mind toward recovery should consider giving this treatment a fair consideration

This center saved my life. Not only do they help you, but teach you how to help yourself. Everyone there is incredibly nice, patient and helpful throughout the entire process. In my case, Travis Proffitt was my coordinator and was always there for me when I needed him. Even on weekends at the pharmacy having problems, Travis always got it fixed quickly. Although I graduated the program, I still stay in touch with him and follows up with me. Juan, the owner and leader of the group sessions, gives you all the tools you need to succeed, and is inspiring. June, the receptionist was incredibly nice and always helpful and patient. Justin lead group at times and handled my entire intake. If you're struggling with addiction, anxiety and/or depression, there's no other place you should go in Miami. A huge benefit about the program is that after you finish, you can go back to the group meetings anytime for free, for LIFE! No charge, no insurance, just additional free therapy for life. This center showed me that after all my failed attempts with other doctors and therapists over the years, there's no other place I will go again. Thank you to everyone at Adaptive for helping me take back control of my life!

I was extremely reluctant to seek treatment/ help of any kind due to my poor experience with a traditional AA facility and expectation that any type of treatment would be synonymous with that type of hard-line, dogmatic approach. I found The Adaptive Center to be a refreshingly nuanced, honest, and engaging way of approaching not only addiction, but also life. Not only did I not dread going to meetings, I very much looked forward to the possible psychological and/ or philosophical, topics of conversation during group meetings lead by Juan Lesende. Last but not least, Travis Proffitt made the administrative process as painless as possible, and was a constant source of information and guidance- even making himself available via test message at any time to answer questions related to scheduling appointments, filling prescriptions, housing, and even legal matters. I recommend the Adaptive Center as strongly as possible to anyone (including family) considering it as a treatment option.
