Go sober enabled me to reclaim my life. Alcohol had taken over and the rest of my life had been put on hold due to my addiction. Go Sober educated me on my addiction and helped treat it. Once you’re free from the constant desire to drink you then have to relearn how to live and that’s where the different coaches and councilors come into play. The entire staff is very welcoming and supportive and they want nothing more than to see you regain control of your life.

Go Sober was everything it advertised and so much more! Other programs I researched were just not right for me. Go Sober was the answer. It helped me get my life back and I would highly recommend it to anyone serious about getting and staying sober.

I went through the Go Sober program about 2.5 years ago. I am still sober and though I think the Go Sober program is a great program for people, in the end, the program did not work for me. Don't get me wrong, the program will work for most people, the amount of resources in the program are awesome. They have counseling, personal training and life coach built into the program. They also help you pharmacologically which is great if you have a history of seizures or another bad detox symptom. Though they needed to update the type of meds they use, have more research on the medications, and absolutely needed to have WAY more follow up and monitoring with the medications. The reason it did not work for me was several reasons, 1 being I work nights and they are not geared whatsoever for that. I was constantly exhausted and ended up missing several meetings due to oversleeping and that helped lead to a massive amount of overwhelm. I was in a desperate depression through most of the first 3 months of sobriety, the depression finally lifted 3 days after I took myself off of their medications. I never really stopped craving alcohol after their initial 3 day infusion. Go Sober did give me the initial kick to quit drinking, but in the end I had to stop contact with them, stop killing myself with no sleep, and just focus on me. it was the only way. This is not intended to put down the program, I think the program will work for a lot of people, I really do, but it needed a lot of refining, starting with the medications

This program is amazing s well as the staff! It saved my life! I am 4 months sober and feel better than ever! In the past I have gone to AA, rehab, and soon after was back to drinking. I have not craved alcohol at all. As an alcoholic we always find an excuse, well I recently lost my dad and with no doubt I know I would of grabbed that bottle, yes the thought crossed my mind but only briefly, I'm in a different place now and like I said I feel better than ever! Thank you thank you soooo much! Lori Alliprandine
