No one wants to go to a psych hospital but if you have to go to one this is the one to go to. I spent around a week on the acute unit earlier this year. It was clean, we had snacks available on request, there was a tv, it was quiet. I like the nutritionalist. It was too cold. Unfortunately I was intentionally injured by one staff member while being restrained.

This is one of the nicest behavioral health places you can be a patient in. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are many groups through out the day every day of the week. The food is pretty good. The facility is clean and there are cleaners on duty 24/7. If you need help, this is a great place to go. Its not just a "babysitter" facility. I was not a nice person at all, and the staff still was very nice to me. IF i never need to have my meds adjusted again, I will select this facility and not feel as much stress as I have in other facilities.

Highly recommend for Psychiatric care. First place in 6 years of taking medication for several emotional disorders that adjusted my medication perfectly. I can now live a normal life. :)
