I read the old reviews which made me apprehensive about this place (also, not trying to negate anybody else’s reviews). Im a teen and during my senior year, I realized I most likely had anxiety and definitely needed help. •During one of my initial appointments, I waited for an hour because my person ( i cant remember her title or name) was double booked, and was too scared to ask the front desk lady as to why it was taking so long. Until the hour had gone on by. As a teen in the summer, I didn't care for the wasted time, but definitely understand why working people would be upset. My suggestion would be to call before your appointment, and once you arrive to your appointment, to make sure this doesn't happen to you. I know that might seem extra and like it’s not your job to make sure they're not double booked, but eh. I say this simply because during my last appointment, I thought my appointment had double booked again, but later found out it had taken a while for me to get in because the patient prior to me had had a crisis. •My Nurse Practioner was really kind and understanding about my anxiety disorder. Wont say her name bc she’s leaving unfortunately. She also prescribed me Lexapro 10 mg and life has never been better. But remember, it’s different for everyone! •My therapist, Diana Glasser, is so amazing. Im seriously excited when I have to go to therapy bc I just let everything out and realize it’s going to be okay. Also, her room is really cozy. Maybe you can request her :) Also, regarding insurance, im covered by CoverKids, so I cant really speak on that, but just know that they do take CoverKids specifically. Obviously I dont know the rest of the staff, but whomever you get, I hope you get the help you need and get better!
