I have a really great therapist, Nurses are nice and Becky is great and good at what she does but hold times when calling in are unacceptable, good luck getting through. My 3 stars are because of that.

Some of the best psychiatrists/ staff in the area. Almost the only place in the area honestly. I've been going here for about 5 years and it has been overall a great experience. For a while, about a year ago, my meds started failing, and they did everything in their power to get me back on track. They are cautious with what they prescribe. Weary of benzo usage and so forth. My only complaint is that they eventually had me on the second to max dosage of invega. I was super drowsy all the time. I gained so much weight every time they upped the dosage. I was a shell of myself, with problems only getting worse not better. One time I gained about 30lbs in a 2 month period and I was like, "do you see my weight fluctuation?" My psychiatrist I switched from said, "Oh it must be a computer error." It most definitely was not. I switched from that medicine and psychiatrist and am now on a very low dose of abilify, it works way better than that super high dosage of invega anyday. All my symptoms are under control and I am doing very well. I think them upping the dosage of my antipsychotic to that point really took it's toll on me. I was not having any issues with voices (a positive symptom, one that can be treated with meds). They were trying to manage the negative symptoms of schizophrenia with medicine, and it only made it worse honestly. It made me more lethargic, and more robotic like. The weight gain was unbearable. I'm still dealing with it to this day, such a struggle. They ordered a sleep study to figure out my inevitable drowsiness, and we found out I am on the narcolepsy spectrum and have to be prescribed modafinil. Stuff works like a charm. Low side effects and great benefits. I even started working again since I am so well medically managed. I also go to therapy here and my therapist is one of the most down to earth person ever. She listens to what I have to say and has helped me make better decisions in my daily life. She's helped me cope/ make amends with things from my past, and has helped me make better decisions in my present. Highly recommend just being transparent with them about everything in your life, so you can receive the most beneficial help.
