I’ve enjoyed my experience with Dr. Daly as an outpatient. Always takes into account all of my conditions when changing my medication. He’s hard to get into because of how high-demand he is, but he always manages to squeeze me in.

My 1st stay here was ideal, my 2nd was much harder. You have to find which unit works better for you to get the most out of it, I personally found staff on one to be more quiet and attentive to my needs than the other. Both stays temporarily stabilized me. Meds given are strong-use caution if you are sensitive like me. I also wished the program was less DBT based as IME it isnt always practical. Overall a good experience and I'd still recommend. Most certainly the best psyche hospital in the Capital Region.

So, where do I begin. Dont really trust the people that are rating this place one star. The staff do great. The place is boring but there is some entertainment. But you're not really there for entertainment, you're there for help. The food there is meh (for the love of god dont try the eggs) but it's alright. So yes, I do reccomend this place

the program i was in earned the label ‘sad kids summer camp’ and with good reason. it felt like summer camp, the food was bad, the beds were uncomfortable, the staff was essentially camp counselors trained in handling insane outbursts or self harm attempts. some of the staff were helpful, most of them looked as if their career drained the life out of them (which it probably does, surrounded by suicidal teenagers). i think the majority of them care or cared at one point. one of my worst experiences in life, but i didn’t end up dead. which is essentially what i signed up for.
